At-home personalized prenatal care and counselling: Have you already had a baby? Looking to have some help planning and prepare for this next birth? This could be a good option for you instead of doing a more formal prenatal class. Can include food preparation for the birth or postpartum period as well! Birth Doula Services: As a birth doula I provide guidance, support and information during the pregnancy and use many holistic approaches to soothe and support you throughout the labor and birth. Postnatally, I will provide breastfeeding support, if desired, and help with questions concerning postpartum and newborn needs. Packages include the following:
A complimentary “meet-and-greet” interview online or at your home.
Prenatal visits (2- 2 ½ hourseach) to learn about the stages of labour, possible interventions during labour, coping techniques, relaxation skills, birth planning, postnatal care for mom and baby, etc..
Support via phone and e-mail from pregnancy to postpartum 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
On-call availability for the month around your due date
Support laboring at home before moving to your birth location (if desired)
Continuous support for you and your birth team during your labor from a certified doula, with a back-up doula possibly available for a long labor.
Postpartum Visits (2-3 hours each) after the baby is born for practical postpartum support and birth reflection
*Classic Package: $750 Birth Support & 3 pre or postnatal meetings
*Premium Package: $950 Birth Support & 5 pre or postnatal meetings
*Deluxe Package: $1100 Birth Support & 7 pre or postnatal meetings Postpartum Services: As a postpartum doula I am there to comfort and take care of you after the birth of the baby. To offer support and information on breastfeeding, bottle feeding, baby carrying, infant sleep, nutrition, and baby massage are some of the topics that could be explored. Help preparing meals or tidy up while you rest are other complimentary options during a postnatal visit. Also, help with sibling bonding or keeping older children occupied while parents spend time with baby could be offered. Mothers and fathers need to be taken care of too!
Sibling Companionship:
Are you interested in having your child or children present at the birth but not sure how to co-ordinate or integrate them in the birth? As a sibling companion I will be there to help provide awareness and support to your little one during the birth. This service is especially useful for home births.
